Little Amal at College Park

On Sunday June 11th Clay and Paper Theatre’s African Crested Crane puppet welcomed Little Amal at College Park. Little Amal is a 12-ft puppet of a 10 year old Syrian refugee. She is a symbol of compassion and of human rights. Amal carries a message of hope as half of all refugees are children. The African Crested Crane puppet was commissioned by War Child Canada and is a symbol of hope. The mandala blanket that Amal sits on was created by Muse Arts and the blue bird puppets were performed by Why Not Theatre.
