A Day In The Life at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre (BCC) - Collaborative Stop Motion

On February 19th, 2024, during Family Day, the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre celebrated its grand opening. I led a drop-in workshop in collaboration with the City of Mississauga's Culture department, where families could design various props using plasticine for a collaborative stop-motion project. Using the props created during the workshop, I filmed and produced a stop-motion film titled "A Day in the Life at BCC."

Felt Stories at Workers Arts and Heritage Centre (WAHC)

Facilitated a drop-in workshop for families at the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre in Hamilton. The workshop was about when people come together they unite and embrace the strength that is found within numbers. They can create change within their communities and in the world. Families had the opportunity to create a picture made out of felt and fabric inspired by the work in The People United, and the permanent collection at WAHC.

Snowflakes and Science at Havergal Junior College

Co-created and facilitated an arts integration lesson to grade one students at Havergal Junior College using the Ontario Curriculum. Students through play-based learning, learned different scientific facts about snowflakes and then engaged in an arts-based activity where they created snowflakes using oil pastels and watercolour paint.
